April, 23 – 25, the 3rd Humanities Classroom of Peking University took place at Mt. Qingcheng, Sichuan. President of Sinopec, Fu Chengyu, board chairman of Xin’ao group Wang Yusuo, Founder of Mengniu group Niu Gensheng, board chairman of TCL Li Dongsheng, president of Shanghai Junyao group Wang Junjin, board chairman of Far East group Jiang Xipei, Metersbonwe President Zhou Chengjian as well as other 30 famous entrepreneurs attended the class. Standing committee member of the CPPCC, board chairman of Tongwei Group Liu Hanyuan attended the class. Standing Committee member of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, secretary of the CPC municipal committee, Li Chuncheng received the entrepreneurs during the class period. Dean of the faculty of philosophy and religion Mr. Wang Bo and Mr. Wang Zongyu were the main instructors of the class.

The purpose of the course is to study Chinese classics Tao Te Ching, and Lao-tze, to get the historical interpretation of rich Chinese culture on Taoism, the doctrine of the mean, governing by non-interference, the sedative status, as well as existence and nonexistence.

Prof. Wang Bo and Prof. Wang Zongyu interpreted the origin of Taoism, its development process, as well as its influence on reality. During the course session, the trainees practiced Tai-chi, and watched Wushu performance.

On the evening of the 23rd, all the participants of the course watched the large-scaled performance on real water scene at Dujiangyan. The show was composed after the Wenchuan Earthquake to interpret the brilliance of Dujiangyan irrigation system. On the evening of the 24th, Tongwei held a sumptuous reception banquet for the guests from all over the country. All the entrepreneurs gave high credit for Tongwei’s full-hearted reception with every detail of perfection, and Tongwei’s team work and concerted effort.
