In order to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the 5 • 12 Earthquake, the publication ceremony of the book series Unyielding Backbone was held at Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce. Officials from Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Readers newspaper agency, corporate representatives from over 40 private enterprises, as well as the media attended the ceremony.

Tongwei Group’s relief deeds and efforts after the earthquake reconstruction were included in the book with the theme of ‘performing social responsibility with infinite love’. Under the leadership and guidance of Liu Hanyuan, the chairman, Tongwei fully participated in the relief work with concerted effort from over 10,000 employees with the fastest speed. The management visited the disaster-hit areas over 10 times with relief goods. The total donation of the company exceeded 12.5 million RMB. After the earthquake, Tongwei built tow primary schools at the local counties, and also donated to Chengdu University to build a teaching building for the students.
