May, 10, Chairman Liu inspected Sichuan Tongwei and its governing market in company with General Manager of Sichuan Tongwei Chen Pingfu, and Marketing Director of Tongwei Co., Ltd. Wang Shangwen.

Chairman Liu and the visiting leaders visited Meishan Simeng County, where fish fry breeding is the major business. The accompanying technicians helped the local farmers test dissolved oxygen in the water, providing advice for them to improve water quality.

Chairman Liu carefully examined the ponds, and inquired about breeding details of input-output, feed input, electricity cost, survival rate, and recent fish price. After calculation, he suggested there was still much room for cost saving. He said, proper drug dosage and silt treatment, along with meticulous feeding management is the best way to establish and maintain an eco-system with the best producing efficiency. Additionally, the leadership visited the local fish fry breeding base. Chairman Liu examined fish egg collection and hatching. He suggested that an industrial cluster be formed in the region to improve the ability to withstand market risks with a brand of its own. The production of fish fries could exceed 10 billion in 2012.

In the afternoon, Chairman Liu visited Sichuan Tongwei’s producing workshops, raw material warehouse, and checked the operation of equipment. At the conference afterwards, he listened to work reports from all the departments, and gave instructions to consistently improve producing technique, strengthen on-site management, adjust operation thinking, and better advertising promotion so as to further expand Tongwei’s business and lay a solid foundation for the next strategic development.
