July, 26, Sichuan Development and Reform Commission and Sichuan Energy Administration officially approved the 30MW grid-connected PV power generation project’s prophase preparation by the PV Power Division of Tongwei Solar Co., Ltd.. This project is one of the largest PV grid-connected generation projects in Sichuan.

The project’s planned total installed capacity is 100MW, which includes three phases: 1^st phase 30 MW, 2^nd phase 30 MW, 3^rd phase 40 MW. As Sichuan’s demonstration project, its power will satisfy the daily residence power needs at Yanyuan County.

Since its establishment in 2012, the PV Power Division has been positively carrying on prophase preparation at almost 20 project locations in Xinjiang, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Sichuan.
