November, 2, Chairman was invited to attend CCTV’s Dialogue program to discuss over issues concerning China’s PV industry, anti-dumping investigation, as well as industrial status.

During his speech, Chairman Liu explained the range and nature of anti-dumping with illustrations. He continued, anti-dumping involves silicon, wafers, cells and modules. Currently, the key is for the government and society to promote end-use application. On current status of China PV industry, Chairman Liu summarized on three aspects: European crisis influence, anti-dumping impact, and domestic consumption structure, which received approval from the attendees.

Chairman Liu emphasized, economically, the efforts we made in the PV industry today will bring great influence to the revival of free trade and economic globalization. From this perspective, solar energy is the key power to stimulate economic growth. In terms of carbon dioxide emission, compared to European and American countries during industrialization process, China has a relatively short history. For the sustainability of human being, all nations should find out a new clean energy means and economic growth point to promote the world’s economic development, and replace conventional energy. Lastly, Chairman Liu expressed his confidence in the PV industry, and said now is not the end, but just the beginning of the industry’s development.
