November, 16, supported by China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), State-owned Property Committee, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, 2012 China Brand Annual Release Ceremony was held in Beijing. Board Chairman of Tongwei Group Liu Hanyuan received the award of Excellent Personage for Brand Contribution. Tongwei Group was awarded 2012 China’s Annual Brand.

Chairman Liu made a keynote speech at the ceremony, and shared Tongwei’s development from business inception in aquaculture to agriculture and new energy segments business chain extension. Additionally, Chairman Liu emphasized on the importance of food safety and new energy. Tongwei is committed to these two domains for the the grand vision of promoting sustainable development of mankind. Specifically, Tongwei’s aquatic products have the features of health, safety and traceability. In the new energy segment, the company strengthens its competitiveness through huge investment in polycrystalline silicon and solar PV industry. It aims to become the world-class solar PV enterprise and the world-class clean energy company.

On the issue of current difficulties and challenges facing the PV industry, Mr. Liu mentioned the main growth point of representative eco-products put forward by the 18^thCPC National Congress, and emphasized on Tongwei’s social responsibility to make China cleaner.
