November, 19, the 19^th session of the standing committee of the 11^th CPPCC National Committee was held in Beijing. Chairman of the CPPCC Jia Qinglin presided the session, standing committee member of PolitBuro of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee Liu Yunshan reported on the 18^th National Congress of the CPC. Standing committee member of the CPPCC, board chairman of Tongwei Group Liu Hanyuan attended the session.

Mr. Jia Qinglin made a keynote speech. Jia said it an important political task of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) to work to realize the goals and tasks that the Party congress put forward. He made his comments at the 19th session of the 11th Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee. He urged senior political advisors to contribute to build a well-off society in China. Liu Yunshan was invited to attend the meeting and deliver a report on the 18th CPC national congress. Liu praised the contributions that non-Communist parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce as well as those without party affiliation had made in putting forward proposals to the political report to the 18th CPC national congress. Liu also briefed participants with details concerning the Party congress.
