February, 21, Secretary of Hure Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Bai Yaohua and delegation paid a visit to Tongwei headquarters, and received warm welcome from VP of Tongwei Group, President of Toongwei Solar Mr. Hu Rongzhu.

Mr. Bai gave high credit to Tongwei’s achievements during its 30-year development. The two sides discussed on the PV market’s current status and prospect. Additionally, both sides carried on in-depth talk on Tongwei’s PV project at Hure Banner, and signed investment framework agreement.

Since its establishment in 2012, the PV Power Division has started prophase preparation for almost 20 projects in Xinjiang, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Sichuan, and has established good relationship with the local governments.

In 2012, Tongwei Solar signed 1GW PV power investment agreement with Qiemo and Hejing counties in Xinjiang. The Qiemo 20WM project received approval for grid-connected generation from the Xinjiang DRC on January, 28, 2013.
