In the past few days, the outbreak of pneumonia caused by a novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) in Hubei and other multiple provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China has aroused great concern of the Party Central Committee and the people nationwide. As the saying goes, “When there’s a disaster somewhere, people there will get help from everywhere.” On January 29, Tongwei Group, in response to the initiative of Sichuan Federation of Industry & Commerce, donated CNY 10 million through China Guangcai Foundation to support the frontline fight against the epidemic and relevant prevention and control in Wuhan and surrounding epidemic areas in Hubei province. 

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Mr. Liu Hanyuan, the member of the standing committee of the 11th national committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC), member of the standing committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and board chairman of Tongwei Group, attaches great importance to this event. Mr. Liu requested all administrative staff to spare no efforts in the prevention of epidemic for the company and all staff, and demanded that all employees should make contributions within their ability without disturbing the epidemic area, and work together to overcome difficulties. 

As the only leading enterprise involved in both agriculture and new energy industries in China and even the world, Tongwei Group, led by Mr. Liu Hanyuan, has achieved steady and fast development for the past 38 years and has become the core player and main driving force in the development of photovoltaic new energy industry in China, even all over the world.
